It comes in a custom tin box with a top-sliding lid with embossed accents. It is the only Gentle Tarot deck with gold stamping on the card backs, while it preserves the matte gold edging of the First Edition. 300gsm. Every tin comes with a special limited-edition sticker set.

I love this deck!

I have searched long and hard for a tarot deck that is connected to nature and resonates with my heart. This is the one that I love the most! Many tarot decks have imagery that is rooted in political power structures, frightening and/or violent (and thus activating to my nervous system in ways that are not helpful). This one is truly gentle, without lacking the necessary firmness or clarity. I had seriously almost given up on tarot altogether because of its imperialism. I cherish this deck as a kind and clear energy of ancestors and nature spirits (lots of overlap there for me). The guide book is a huge part of this, filled with earth-based wisdom and empowering prompts. I have found the whole experience to be healing. A huge hug and thanks to Mari in the Sky for sharing this with the world. <3

I don't resonate as much with the animal cards, but the images with human figures resonate with me very deeply. I think others have said plenty about Mari's gorgeous art, tbh. :)

As far as the deck itself, I was very pleasantly surprised that the cards are nice and bendy, and not too thick (I'm a riffle shuffler through and through). Too many smaller decks these days are just as thick as their big siblings, and it makes them so difficult to handle. This pocket size is also excellent for my small hands.
