PLEASE NOTE that these prototypes were not created by my mass production printer. The quality is NOTHING like the final super luxurious indie-deck launched in this Kickstarter and currently available in BackerKit for pre-order at $60 per box set, guidebook included.
There are 6 decks available with varying number of cards. Although not all are complete decks, I can attest that they are still very much usable as an oracle deck! Plus you will be one of the first in the world to get to know My Friend Fire. 🔥
DECK CHOICES:
Phase 1 decks are about 20 cards short of the complete deck. What is special about these is that they have the original art for many cards that have since changed, with art that will not appear anywhere else, ever.
Phase 2 decks are almost complete decks! The deck in this phase with 56 cards is the ONLY prototype deck that received plenty of shuffling use. This one is quite dear to my heart as this what I used to get to know My Friend Fire in the last stages of creation.
Phase 3 decks are pretty much complete at 58 cards, and totally complete at 59 cards! Please note that the only complete prototype deck does not have matte lamination, this is plain art paper digital printing. Honestly, it is the only one that is scuff free because it is not laminated, so the art work is very clear! However, durability will be less because of the lack of lamination. Lots of trade offs! But it's the only complete deck.
Every deck comes with a digital suite reference key to help you with your readings (all except for the Phase 3 decks, which come with a physical reference card - something that will not exist even in the final My Friend Fire printing!). There are no guidebooks available at this time. My Friend Fire was created to be more of an intuitive deck. I hope you enjoy this part of the experience!
Please note that the decks with matte lamination are not scuff-free. Due to the nature of local lamination process, most of the cards arrived with slightly visible scuffs in the lamination.
